Crisis of Water is probably the worst curse any civilization would like to face. It will be tragic for the next generation facing this crisis due to lack of foresight in part of the present generation. In India, about 140,000 children die from diarrheal diseases each year, after using dirty water, a report says.

Currently, a water project is going on at  rural villages in Murshidabad district, West Bengal State, India. The main objective of this project is to provide clean drinking water facilities for the needy . The project will help in alleviating the problem of non-availability of clean drinking water being faced by the villagers in these areas. The villagers are very poor and they cannot afford digging a tube well or an open well at their home. Drought and drinking water scarcity is now a regular feature and each year the problem is worsening.

Through this project, we aim to implement 15 tube wells around the selected villages which will enable many households to have access to and use safe & adequate drinking water and within a reasonable distance. Each tube well will be used by an average of 30 families.
